Fire

What do college students, farmers, paramedics, Washtenaw County Road Commission employees, Homeland Security agents, Coast Guard Reservists, business owners, local school employees and retired individuals have in common? They all serve as members of the Salem Township Fire Department investing hundreds of hours of annual training to serve the people and visitors of the community. The training includes fire suppression activities, hazardous materials, terrorism and ongoing medical education.

The Salem Township Fire Department is organized and operated for the people of Salem Township for the purpose of fire control, fire prevention and any emergency service that the department is equipped to provide.
