The Salem Contract Post Office has been located in the Rider House since 1999.  The Salem Township Board of Trustees approved usage to the United States Postal Service to move the facility into the Rider House to preserve Salem?s zip code and allow services to continue. 

Visitors will find the same services available as in any larger facility.  The Salem Contract Post Office has stamps for sale and also offers parcel post, priority and express mail for packages up to 70 lbs.  Mail services such as certified, receipt return, registered, delivery confirmation and postal money orders are also available.
Service hours are:

 Monday ? Friday 8:00 am ? 2:00 pm 
  Saturday  8:00 am ? 10:30 am
