Susan Bejin, Salem Township Trustee

Susan Bejin, a graduate of the University of Michigan. She and her husband Michael Geary, moved to Salem Township 36 years ago. Susan and Michael raised their three children in Salem Township. 

Susan was first appointed the Salem Township Planning Commission in 1975. She served on and off until 2008. Susan now serves as the township board liaison to the commission.

Susan has been active in Washtenaw 4H and Focus Salem. She has been a member of Salem Historical Society since its inception and a local participant St. Vincent DePaul Society. 

Susan is retired from high school youth ministry and continues to be active in her church. She has her own interior and graphic design business of 19 years.

Township Trustees duties include:

Township legislators, required to vote on all issues

Responsible for township?s fiduciary health

Other duties as assigned by board
